Ingredients:

  • 4 ripe pears
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup chopped walnuts or almonds
  • Greek yogurt (for serving)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Wash the pears and cut them in half lengthwise. Use a spoon or melon baller to remove the seeds and create a hollow in each pear half.
  3. Place the pear halves cut side up on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  4. Drizzle the honey evenly over the pear halves, then sprinkle them with ground cinnamon. You can adjust the amount of honey and cinnamon according to your taste preferences.
  5. Sprinkle the chopped walnuts or almonds over the pears, distributing them evenly.
  6. Bake the pears in the preheated oven for about 20-25 minutes, or until they are tender and slightly caramelized.
  7. Remove the pears from the oven and let them cool for a few minutes.
  8. Serve the baked cinnamon pears warm or at room temperature. You can enjoy them as is or top each pear half with a dollop of Greek yogurt for added creaminess.
