Here’s a recipe for easy and delicious lamb burgers:

Ingredients:

  • 1 pound ground lamb
  • 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped red onion
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground coriander
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • Olive oil (for cooking)
  • Hamburger buns ( or lettuce wrap )
  • Toppings of your choice (lettuce, tomato, onion, cheese, etc.)

Instructions:

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the ground lamb, breadcrumbs, red onion, garlic, parsley, cumin, coriander, salt, and black pepper. Mix well until all the ingredients are evenly incorporated.
  2. Divide the mixture into four equal portions. Shape each portion into a patty, making sure they are compacted but not too tightly packed. Use your thumb to make a slight indentation in the center of each patty to help them cook evenly.
  3. Preheat a grill or stovetop pan over medium-high heat. Brush the grill or pan with a little olive oil to prevent sticking.
  4. Place the lamb patties on the grill or pan and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until they reach your desired level of doneness. Lamb is typically cooked to medium-rare or medium, but adjust the cooking time according to your preference.
  5. While the burgers are cooking, you can toast the hamburger buns on the grill or in a toaster if desired.
  6. Once the burgers are cooked, remove them from the heat and let them rest for a couple of minutes.
  7. Assemble the lamb burgers on the toasted buns, adding your favorite toppings such as lettuce, tomato, onion, and cheese.
  8. Serve the lamb burgers hot and enjoy!

Feel free to customize the toppings and condiments according to your taste. You can also serve the lamb burgers with a side of fries or a fresh salad for a complete meal.
