For those of you who are still dealing with the Mother Wound, – ” a period of intense mental anguish or suffering, experiencing intense worry, anxiety, or fear about a situation in a child’s life perpetuated ( knowingly or unknowingly) ” by the mother.  The mother wound is the cultural trauma that is carried by a mother – along with any dysfunctional coping mechanisms that have been used to process that pain – and inherited by her children (with daughters generally bearing the brunt of this burden).

Many may be carrying a sense of guilt or regret or a feeling of being overwhelmed by negative thoughts or emotions due to the mother’s wound. I urge those of you to have a positive interpretation. It might be a good time to begin to confront your fears and anxieties and take steps towards healing and recovery.  Biofeedback helps with gaining the power of thoughts and emotions and uses the power of the mind to create positive change, and the potential for transformation and growth through facing past traumas one’s fears.

May I remind you that you have the power to overcome negative thoughts and emotions, and to create positive change in your lives through self-reflection, self-care, and the support of loved ones? This time may bring out your creativity, imagination, and emotional openness.  can be a period of emotional growth or exploration. It will help you become more in touch with your feelings, and open you up to new experiences and perspectives. Look at if you can from a sense of curiosity or wonder, and a willingness to explore one’s own potential.

Mother’s Day represents the feminine energy or divine feminine, creation itself. This day calls us all to embrace our feminine side and honour the special women in our lives. It is an invitation to explore your deepest feelings and desires and to channel that energy into creative expression and personal growth. Hopefully, it will be a time of heightened intuition or spiritual awareness. Self-exploration will help you become more in touch with your inner wisdom and help you to develop a greater understanding of others as well as your own subconscious mind or uncover deeper truths.

Remember there is more to your mom and her world than what meets the eye, and that we have the potential to connect with something greater than ourselves.  When we take the time to really heal we have the ability to understand others and to let go and move on past our mother wounds.
